The Social Sciences Career Week (SSCW) is organised by Cedo Nulli, which is the student association of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences. Cedo Nulli represents five different study programs: Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Pedagogical Sciences and Management of International Social Challenges (MISOC). The SSCW will take place from the 25th to the 29th of November 2019 and will be based around this year’s theme: ‘Find Your Challenge’. We not only welcome members of Cedo Nulli to the SSCW, but we would also like to invite students of other faculties to join.

Over the course of five days, we offer students numerous workshops and skill trainings organised by a variety of companies. We will also welcome several inspiring guest speakers to hold interesting lectures and to spark debates.

In this training, Dennis Karakoç, the manager of the Stress Centrum (also a psychologist, stresscoach and trainer), will talk about stress among students and adolescents. In his lecture, he will focus on topics that are incredibly relevant for this age group, such as the pressure to do well on tests, growing study debts or the expectations to start working while students are still studying. Mr. Karakoç will also help you by offering you the much-needed advice on how to handle your own stress and make your hectic lives a little easier.
